Constitutional Court rules Özgür Özel's freedom of expression was violated
In the moral damages lawsuit filed by Fuat Oktay, the Constitutional Court ruled that ordering Özel to pay 10,000 lira constituted a violation of freedom of expression; it decided that Özel should be paid 50,000 lira in compensation and that the file be sent back to the Ankara 25th Civil Court of First Instance for retrial.[TRUNC]
