Corrections
Last updated 17 September 2026
If something on gazete.tv is wrong, we want to know, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing.
What counts as a correction
A wrong fact: a name, a number, a date, a place, a title, an attribution. A summary that does not match what its source actually says. A source link that points at the wrong article. A translation that changes the meaning of the original.
A disagreement with a source we summarised accurately is not a correction here. In that case the argument is with the publisher, and the link is right there. But tell us anyway if you think the sources we chose gave a lopsided picture, because the mix is our responsibility.
How we handle it
- We check the claim against the sources the story was written from.
- If the story is wrong, we fix it in place, and the story page shows that it was corrected and when.
- If the source was wrong and we repeated it, we say that too and point at the source.
- If the story was right, we write back and tell you why we think so.
- Serious errors are also noted in the next day’s edition.
We do not quietly delete a story to make a mistake go away. If a story has to come down, the page stays with a note saying why.
Tell us
Use the form below. The story address helps most: copy it from the address bar. You can also write to the corrections e-mail on the contact page. Everything we have corrected is listed at the bottom of this page, newest first.
