The Republican People's Party (CHP) is a social democratic political party active in Türkiye. Its official abbreviation is CHP. Founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, it is Türkiye's oldest political party and holds 44 seats in the Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

CHP expels Mezitli Mayor Tuncer from the party
