Membership
Last updated 18 September 2026
Coming soon. gazete.tv is planning a paid membership, sold only inside our iOS and Android apps through the App Store and Google Play, never on this website. This page describes it before it exists so you can see what is coming and hold us to it. Nothing is on sale yet, there is no sign-up form, and no price has been set.
Nothing is on sale yet
There is no membership to buy today, and there is no way to sign up. The whole site is free, every edition, every archive page, every feed. This page is a promise written down early, not an offer.
When membership does open, this page will say so, the price will be shown in the store before you confirm anything, and the terms of use will carry the rules that go with it.
What a member will get
- No adverts. The advertising slots disappear for a signed-in member. Not fewer adverts, not quieter ones: none.
- A home page you arrange. Choose which sections you want at the top, which ones you would rather not see, and how long the feed runs before it stops.
- Saved stories on every device. Today the stories you save live in the browser you saved them in and go when you clear it. A member’s saved list follows the account instead, so the phone and the laptop show the same list.
Everything a member gets is about how you read gazete.tv. None of it changes what we publish. There will be no members-only story, no paywalled edition and no early access: the brief is the same brief for everyone, and the free edition stays.
Signing in
When accounts open, you will be able to sign in with Google or with Apple. There will be no gazete.tv password to remember, and we never see the password you use with Google or Apple.
What we would receive from them is your name, your e-mail address and an identifier that lets us recognise you next time, plus whatever preferences you then set here. That is the whole list. The privacy policy and the KVKK disclosure notice describe it in full, including how long it is kept and how to have the account deleted.
Where it will be sold
In our apps, not on this website. A membership will be an in-app purchase in the gazete.tv app for iPhone and iPad, or the one for Android — bought through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, with the account you already use there. This website will never sell it and will never ask you for a card. If you sign in here with the same Google or Apple account, the site will see that you are a member and drop the adverts.
Neither app exists yet either. They come first, and the membership comes with them.
Paying, renewing and stopping
The store handles all of it, because the store is the seller.
- The price is the one the store shows you, in your own currency, before you confirm. Nothing is charged until you do.
- Renewal happens in the store, for the same period, until you turn it off.
- Cancelling is done in the store account: on an iPhone or iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the membership running to the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds come from Apple or Google, never from us — the money never reaches us, so we cannot give it back. Apple takes requests at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google takes them through the Play Store’s purchase history. The 14-day right of withdrawal you have as a consumer in Turkey, and its equivalent in the European Union, is exercised on those same routes.
- We never see your card. Not the number, not the billing address, not what you were charged. What reaches us from the store is one fact: whether the account is a member.
If something on our side is wrong — the store says you are a member and the site does not agree, a sign-in will not connect, an account has to go — write to [email protected] and say which store you bought in. We cannot move money, but we can fix that.
What happens if a membership ends
Nothing is deleted because a membership ended. The member features stop — the adverts come back and a home page you arranged returns to the standard one — and everything else stays: the free edition in full, the stories saved in this browser, which never needed a membership, and whatever is kept on the account, which is still there when you come back. Deleting the account itself is a separate choice; it removes the account and everything attached to it, and it does not cancel a subscription, so turn renewal off in the store first.
The rules
The terms that will govern an account and a membership — one person per account, what happens if an account is misused, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds — are in the terms of use, linked at the foot of this page. They are written for a service that does not exist yet, and they say so where it matters.
