Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is a Turkish politician, bureaucrat and economist. He served as chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) from May 2010 to November 2023 and again from 2026. He served in the Grand National Assembly (TBMM) as an MP for Istanbul from 2002-2015 and for İzmir from 2015-2023.

Kılıçdaroğlu visits farming family in Bolu on the way to Istanbul

Court lifts injunction, Gürsel Tekin says he continues in his post

The İstanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance lifted the injunctions it had issued on September 2, 2025 in the CHP İstanbul Provincial Congress case; the duties of Gürsel Tekin and the interim board came to an end. Court lifts injunction on CHP's Istanbul branch, Tekin's temporary duty ends

CHP spokesperson Sarı: No legal obstacle remains before the congress
