Japanese delegation visits Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command

According to the Defence Ministry (MSB), a delegation composed of members of the Japanese parliament and representatives of Japanese defense industry firms was briefed on the shipyard's shipbuilding projects and infrastructure capabilities; possible areas of cooperation were discussed mutually.

Number of detentions in forex fraud investigation rises to 201

In the "Israel-linked forex fraud" operation carried out by MİT and police under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the number of detentions rose to 201; 9 of those detained are Israeli nationals and 11 are Pakistani nationals. Assets worth 1.5 billion lira belonging to suspects were seized, along with 80 vehicles and 12 properties.

Death toll rises to 15 in ship sinking off Girne, detentions extended in investigation

TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced that the body of one more person had been recovered from the "Filo Jet" ship that sank on August 30, bringing the death toll to 15, with 13 people still being searched for.
