Felipe Massa tours Istanbul as part of TGA program

Brazilian driver Felipe Massa, who won all three Formula 1 races held at Istanbul Park, visited the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet as part of a program organized by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA); he said, "I loved the Bosphorus the most."

Ankara Culture Route Festival held in the capital September 19-27

The 19th stop of the Türkiye Culture Route Festival opened in Ankara with Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy visiting four exhibitions at CSO Ada Ankara. According to Yeniçağ, the festival includes 518 events at 42 venues.

Kahramanmaraş Castle and five mosques reopen after restoration

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy opened Kahramanmaraş Castle, damaged in the February 6, 2023 earthquakes, to visitors and reopened five mosques for worship. Ersoy said more than 12.265 billion lira had been spent on restoration across the 11 earthquake-affected provinces.

Ersoy reopens 5 mosques and a castle restored in Kahramanmaraş

Minister Ersoy visited Kahramanmaraş Castle, damaged in the February 6 earthquakes, and reopened 5 mosques for worship after restoration. The ministry has so far spent over 12.2 billion lira (TL) across the 11 earthquake-affected provinces, with total investment expected to reach 34 billion lira.
