Ayşegül Yaşar, reported missing in Osmaniye, found dead

The lifeless body of 54-year-old Ayşegül Yaşar, who went missing in Düziçi on August 26, was found in the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş; it was reported that the detained suspect, identified by the initials T.K., confessed to killing her.

Kahramanmaraş Castle and five mosques reopen after restoration

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy opened Kahramanmaraş Castle, damaged in the February 6, 2023 earthquakes, to visitors and reopened five mosques for worship. Ersoy said more than 12.265 billion lira had been spent on restoration across the 11 earthquake-affected provinces.

Ersoy reopens 5 mosques and a castle restored in Kahramanmaraş

Minister Ersoy visited Kahramanmaraş Castle, damaged in the February 6 earthquakes, and reopened 5 mosques for worship after restoration. The ministry has so far spent over 12.2 billion lira (TL) across the 11 earthquake-affected provinces, with total investment expected to reach 34 billion lira.
