METU student groups issue statement against road project through the forest

Following the resumption of work on a road planned to connect Dumlupınar Boulevard to the Niğde Motorway and passing through METU Forest, a joint statement signed by 41 METU constituent bodies claimed the project would disrupt the forest's ecological integrity.
