Some roads in Istanbul to close Sunday for running and cycling events

The Istanbul Police Department announced that some roads in Fatih, Beyoğlu, and Beykoz will be closed from 06:00 until the end of tomorrow's running and cycling events, with alternative routes designated. Road closures were also reported in Ankara.

6 arrests in currency exchange incident where two died in Fatih

Neutral press and Opposition press Evrensel and NTV reported that the shooting incident at the currency exchange office took place on 14 September, and that out of 12 detained suspects, 6 were arrested, judicial control was imposed on 3, and 3 were released.

Neutral press Habertürk reported that the incident occurred on 15 September in Fatih's Nuruosmaniye neighborhood; according to the report, a group of 9 people arrived at the office, two brothers died, and 2.58 million counterfeit dollars were seized at the premises.

40 people arrested in investigation into exorbitant fruit and vegetable prices

All 40 suspects detained in the investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office were arrested; efforts continue to capture one suspect for whom a detention order exists. The operation involved searches at 109 addresses in 22 provinces, and statements were taken from 1,029 farmers.

Istanbul-led operation in 20 provinces targets organized crime: 178 detained

On September 14, an operation led from Istanbul across 20 provinces targeted 12 separate "new generation" organized crime groups, detaining 178 suspects; searches turned up weapons, ammunition and narcotics. Of 42 people detained in a Muğla-based operation, 20 were referred to the courthouse.
