Gürlek: 20 arrests in capital markets; 40 arrested in fruit-and-vegetable investigation

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that 20 people had been arrested in manipulative trading investigations and that 51 people had been banned from leaving the country. In Istanbul's fresh fruit and vegetable pricing investigation, all 40 suspects referred to court were arrested.

Trump expected to meet Gulf leaders at UN General Assembly

According to Axios sources, Trump will discuss post-Iran war strategy with representatives of Gulf Cooperation Council countries at the UN General Assembly starting September 22. Reuters reported that the war has spread to Yemen and Saudi Arabia and that oil supply risks have increased.

US rejects Abbas's visa request for UN General Assembly

The US rejected the visa applications of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and some Palestinian officials, who were expected to speak at the UN General Assembly in New York next week.
