Yemen, officially the Republic of Yemen, is a country in the Middle East. It borders Saudi Arabia to the north and Oman to the northeast; it has an area of 555,000 km² and a coastline 1,200 km long. Its capital and largest city is Sana'a, with a population of approximately 31 million as of 2022.

Trump expected to meet Gulf leaders at UN General Assembly

According to Axios sources, Trump will discuss post-Iran war strategy with representatives of Gulf Cooperation Council countries at the UN General Assembly starting September 22. Reuters reported that the war has spread to Yemen and Saudi Arabia and that oil supply risks have increased.
