Erzurum is a province of Türkiye located in the Eastern Anatolia Region, with its administrative center being the city of Erzurum. The province has a population of 736,877, with agriculture and animal husbandry as its main livelihood; in recent years it has also become notable for winter tourism. The province has an elevation of 1,959 meters above sea level and covers an area of 25,006 km².
