Minister Tekin: Mid-term breaks could be scrapped in years when the calendar doesn't fit
Education Minister Yusuf Tekin said on a television broadcast that they try to align mid-term breaks with the Ramadan and Sacrifice holidays, and that in years when the calendar does not align, mid-term breaks could be scrapped. Tekin noted that under regulations, students must attend school for 180 working days.
