A person who opposes an established system or institution

An opponent ("muhalif") is a person who actively challenges an established political or religious system, doctrine, belief or institution. They may present a different view of and demand change from the establishment, beliefs, policies or institutions. The term became widespread in its political sense particularly in the 20th century.

Prostitution investigation across 7 districts in Istanbul: 20 addresses searched
