Where reports differ
Opposition press BirGün reported that spot gold rose 1.1% to test $4,310.49, and that gram gold climbed as high as 6,758 lira on Thursday.
Neutral press Sigorta Gündem reported that after the decision, spot gold fell back to around $4,240, then recovered to approach the $4,300 mark, with gram gold testing above 6,750 lira.
