Karaman is a city in Türkiye's Central Anatolia Region and is the center of Karaman province. It is an important center of trade, culture and art. Settled since around 8000 BC, Karaman and its surroundings feature underground cities, caves and religious sites.

Sanitation worker who fell from garbage truck in Karaman dies 8 days later

Twenty-eight-year-old sanitation worker Furkan Tarım, who fell from the back of a Karaman Municipality garbage truck as it crossed a speed bump, died at the hospital in Konya where he had been transferred; a 37-year-old worker was also injured in the accident.
