A historic covered bazaar in Istanbul

The Grand Bazaar (Kapalıçarşı) is one of the largest and oldest covered bazaars in the world, located in the center of Istanbul between the Beyazıt, Nuruosmaniye and Mercan districts. The bazaar has approximately 4,000 shops and 25,000 workers. In 2014 it was listed as the world's most visited tourist attraction.

BIST 100 closes the week down 8.18% at 13,284 points

On Borsa Istanbul (BIST), the BIST 100 index saw a weekly low of 12,817.01 and a high of 14,355.46 points, closing the week down 8.18%; the dollar rose 0.36% to 48.7810 lira, while the euro fell 0.91%.
