A race track located in Istanbul

Istanbul Park is a world-standard race track located in the Akfırat area of Istanbul's Tuzla district. Its construction began in 2003, and the track hosted Formula 1 races a total of nine times between 2005-2011 and 2020-2021. It covers a total area of 2,215,000 square meters.

Formula 1 calendar announced: Turkish Grand Prix set for October 1-3, 2027 in Istanbul

Formula 1 and FIA announced the 2027 calendar featuring 24 races in 22 countries; the Turkish Grand Prix will return after a six-year absence on October 1-3, 2027 at Istanbul Park. The main race will be held on Sunday, October 3, as TOSFED upgrades the track to F1 standards.
