İbrahim Mustafa Turhan is a Turkish economist and academic. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of Borsa Istanbul (BIST). Between 2008 and 2011 he served as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank (TCMB).

Investigation opened into former Borsa Istanbul chief Turhan over social media posts

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an ex officio investigation into former Borsa Istanbul (BIST) chairman İbrahim Mustafa Turhan over social media posts alleged to be capable of creating fear and panic in the capital markets. The investigation came after BIST 100 lost more than 6%, triggering a circuit breaker.
