Gazi University

A state university located in Ankara

Gazi University is a state university founded in Ankara in 1926. Established on the instructions of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the university holds the title of the republic's first university. The school began education in 1966 as the Ankara State Academy of Engineering and Architecture, and was affiliated with Gazi University in 1982.

Experts recommend early diagnosis and PSA testing for prostate cancer

Speaking to Türkiye Gazetesi, experts said prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men in Türkiye; Assoc. Prof. Tülay Eren recommended PSA testing, on a doctor's advice, from age 50, or from age 45 for those at high risk.

Communications Directorate to hire 15 assistant experts without requiring KPSS

According to the announcement, the KPSS requirement is not sought for the exam application; the hiring is open to graduates of political science, economics and administrative sciences, business administration, economics, communications, and computer and software engineering. The process has three stages consisting of pre-elimination, field knowledge, and an oral exam, with an application fee of 1,100 lira.
