A district on the European side of Istanbul

Eyüpsultan, formerly known as Eyüp, is a district located on the European side of Istanbul province. It was established in 1936 from parts of the Fatih, Beyoğlu and Sarıyer districts and covers an area of 228 km². The district has 29 neighborhoods and, according to 2021 data, a population of 417,360.

Family of deceased motorcycle courier says they are following the case

The sister of 27-year-old motorcycle courier Batuhan Karabulut, who died on March 17 after being hit from behind on the TEM Highway, said the incident was "not a traffic accident, but murder"; driver Uğur S., who is being tried for "causing death through conscious negligence," was rearrested.
