People's Alliance is an electoral alliance established on 20 February 2018 between the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). Later, the Great Unity Party and the New Welfare Party also joined the alliance.

Felicity Party leader Arıkan responds to alliance question

According to Sözcü, Mahmut Arıkan stated that governing alone is impossible due to the 50%+1 requirement, necessitating cooperation; regarding the People's Alliance, he noted he is not categorically opposed to coming together.
