A non-profit institution that establishes, operates and develops systems and infrastructure enabling cashless payments and money transfers in Türkiye. It was established in 1990 as a partnership of 13 public and private Turkish banks.

Card payments reached 2.99 trillion lira in August

According to Interbank Card Center (BKM) data, payments made with credit cards, debit cards and prepaid cards in August rose 39% year-on-year to 2.9904 trillion lira (TL). The total number of cards increased 4% to 478 million.
