Istanbul Atlas University was founded in Istanbul in 2018 by the Turkish-Balkan Education, Culture and Health Foundation. It began teaching in the 2020-2021 academic year and has the Atlas University Hospital in Istanbul's Bağcılar district.

Expert: Türkiye has around 700,000 Alzheimer's patients

Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Tüfekçioğlu Korkmaz from Atlas University said Türkiye has around 700,000 Alzheimer's patients and that the number will rise as the population ages; she recommended consulting a specialist for symptoms such as difficulty finding one's way and repeating the same question.
