Court of Cassation: calling spouse a "donkey, animal" constitutes an attack on personal rights

The Court of Cassation's 2nd Civil Chamber ruled that a husband who called his wife "eşeksin, hayvansın" ("you're a donkey, you're an animal") was at fault, finding the words constituted an attack on personal rights and that the wife must be paid material and moral compensation.
