TCMB Governor Fatih Karahan stated in his presentation at the Türkiye Investment Conference held in New York that the disinflation process continues.
Karahan said that growth has slowed due to the weakness in domestic demand, and that the slowdown in rent inflation supports disinflation. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek also attended the conference.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's decision dated September 18 revoking Papel's license was published in the Official Gazette on September 23, and the company's services stopped.
