The 15,000-ton capacity Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility, established with financing from Türkiye and contributions from TOBB, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC). KKTC Agriculture Minister Hüseyin Çavuş stated the facility is an investment aimed at the entire production sector.

- Intelligence agency MİT head Kalın meets with Libya's Acting Defence Minister Al-Zubi Head of the intelligence agency MİT İbrahim Kalın met with the Government of National Unity's Acting Defence Minister Al-Zubi in Istanbul.
