Ugandan military suspends defence and military cooperation with Türkiye

Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces Spokesperson Chris Magezi announced that they suspended defence and military cooperation with Türkiye "with immediate effect", and that the decision would remain in force until "unresolved issues" are addressed. Neither country's foreign ministry has issued a statement; according to reporting by Nefes, the decision followed a dispute over the extradition of blogger Fred Lumbuye.

- Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility built with Türkiye's financing opens in TRNC The 15,000-ton capacity Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility, established with financing from Türkiye and contributions from TOBB, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC).
