TRNC eases route permit requirement for Turkish-flagged vessels

According to a report by Evrensel, the TRNC Council of Ministers amended port regulations; the requirement for company registration in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) will not be sought until year-end for temporary route permits granted to Turkish-flagged vessels. The regulation came 18 days after what the paper called the "Filo Jet disaster."

New Atatürk Stadium and sports complex project unveiled in Nicosia

At the presentation in the Republic Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz described the project as a "hallmark project"; the complex will be built across an area of approximately 56,000 square meters with an 8,000-person capacity. Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility built with Türkiye's financing opens in TRNC

The 15,000-ton capacity Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility, established with financing from Türkiye and contributions from TOBB, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC). TRNC table tennis federation becomes observer member of Balkan union

Number of detentions in forex fraud investigation rises to 201

In the "Israel-linked forex fraud" operation carried out by MİT and police under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the number of detentions rose to 201; 9 of those detained are Israeli nationals and 11 are Pakistani nationals.
