Citizenship decisions for 6,134 people revoked in irregular citizenship probe

The Interior Ministry reported that citizenship decisions for a total of 6,134 people were revoked in the irregular citizenship investigation. Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that 72 people were detained in the second wave, trustees were appointed to 30 companies, and collusive transactions exceeding 3.5 billion lira (TL) were detected.

Ayşegül Yaşar's lifeless body found in Kahramanmaraş's Andırın district

The lifeless body of 54-year-old Ayşegül Yaşar, who went missing in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye, was found in the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş; one suspect confessed to the murder. One suspect was arrested in the case of Abdülhamid Terkin, who was murdered in Istanbul in 2018.

Ambulance driver released in Kozinoğlu probe, three suspects at courthouse Monday

Of the four people detained in the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office probe into the 2011 prison death of former intelligence agency MİT member Kaşif Kozinoğlu, the ambulance driver was released after giving a statement. The prison director and shift supervisor of the period, along with a former journalist, are expected to be referred to the courthouse Monday; house arrest had previously been ordered for Hasan Atilla Uğur.
