Claim of chemical water discharge from gold exploration drilling in Ordu

The Ordu Environmental Association claimed that chemical-laden water from gold exploration drilling in the districts of Aybastı, Korgan and Kabataş was discharged onto pastureland without oversight, and that three cows died after being poisoned. In Küçükçekmece case over death of 16-year-old, three defendants get 24 years each with no reduction

Küçükçekmece 6th High Criminal Court sentenced three defendants under 18 to 24 years in prison each for "jointly and intentionally killing a child" and ruled against any sentence reduction. Prosecutors had sought between 18 and 24 years in prison.
