Union objects to privatization of bridges and highways; Bodrum properties included in scope

Yapı-Yol Sen announced that it calculated the 30-year revenue of the 2 Bosphorus bridges and 8 highways brought into the privatization scope by a decision published in the Official Gazette on September 5 at $25.2 billion. A separate Presidential Decree also brought 4 Treasury properties in Bodrum and Sarıyer into the scope.

- Bridges and highways to be privatized by 2031, French Egis met officials The 15 July Martyrs and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges and highways under the General Directorate of Highways will be privatized for 30 years without ownership transfer. Privatization will conclude by Dec. 31, 2031, and Egis met officials in Ankara.
