Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry

This is the ministry of the Republic of Türkiye responsible for agriculture and forestry affairs. It operates under the Presidency and was restructured by Presidential Decree No. 1. It was formed by the merger of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock with the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs.

Uncultivated agricultural lands being leased out seasonally

Yumaklı: Vaccination and identification free, 6 billion lira allocated for this item

Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı said in Erzurum that breeders will not be charged for vaccination and identification, and veterinarians will not demand additional fees; around 6 billion lira (TL) has been allocated for this. New Turkish Food Codex rules on dairy and meat products published in Official Gazette

Two communiqués published in the Official Gazette reduced fat classes for drinking milk to four and restricted the use of sugar and syrup; rules on döner labeling and fat ratio in meat products were also revised. Businesses will have until March 31, 2027 to comply.
