Figen Yüksekdağ Şenoğlu is a Turkish journalist and politician. She served as co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) between 2014 and 2017. She was also elected to the Grand National Assembly (TBMM) from Van, serving as a member of parliament in the 25th and 26th terms.

Council of Europe Committee of Ministers repeats call for release of Demirtaş and Yüksekdağ

At its meeting on September 15-16, 2026, the committee, citing rulings by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), called on Türkiye to ensure the "immediate release" of former HDP co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ.
