Türkiye Traffic Status Report: Istanbul traffic costs $10 billion annually
According to the report prepared by Esenler Municipality, the annual economic cost of traffic congestion in Istanbul is approximately $10 billion. The time lost due to traffic reaches 288 hours per year.
