The Treasury and Finance Ministry raised the monetary limits in MASAK's customer identification measures. Some thresholds for prepaid cards and electronic money transactions were doubled.
With the regulation published in the Official Gazette, the limit for loaded money on single-use prepaid cards was raised from 2,750 lira to 5,500 lira. Similarly, some limits in electronic money and mobile payment transactions were also raised. The regulation does not affect general credit card spending limits.
