Former State Airports Authority executive Mehmet Cemil Acar was re-arrested on charges of 'laundering assets derived from crime' on the same day he was released in the bribery and corruption case.
According to the statement from the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Acar, whose procedures at the police department were completed, was arrested by the peace criminal judgeship. In the expert report, the difference between Acar's legal income and his assets was determined as 223 million 795 thousand 333 lira.
