- Fidan says ready to meet Saudi Arabia's military needs Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Türkiye could meet Saudi Arabia's technical military needs in the face of Houthi attacks. He said they are monitoring the situation as the Mecca Alliance formed by Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
- Fidan: We would have no problem meeting Saudi Arabia's military needs Following attacks the Houthis claimed on Riyadh and Red Sea energy facilities on Sept. 19, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan cited alliance duties in the Mecca Alliance, stating military needs in technical areas could be met. The US State Department warned the conflict could escalate rapidly.
