Expert examination ordered for "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" series in Kozinoğlu investigation

The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office ordered an expert examination in the investigation into the 2011 death of former MİT officer Kaşif Kozinoğlu, covering allegations that the TV series 'Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu' depicted a character being killed as a "traitor to the homeland" and contained FETÖ propaganda involving vehicles with "FG" plates. Opposition-leaning press Evrensel and DW Turkish emphasized that journalist Selahattin Günday, detained as part of the same investigation, was detained a second time without having his statement taken by the prosecutor's office; his lawyers described the ruling as a "backup detention" and a violation of the right to defense.
