Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK)

Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) is an economic organization established to monitor Türkiye's economic, commercial, industrial and financial relations with foreign countries and international communities and to assist these relations. It was established in 1986, restructured in 2008 and affiliated to the Ministry of Economy in 2014. It has undertaken the task of conducting the foreign economic relations of the Turkish private sector.

DEİK calls for Type D visas for Turkish truck drivers

Fatih Şener, head of the DEİK Logistics Business Council, said Turkish truck drivers are turned back at borders due to Type C visas. He noted that resolving the issue requires a Type D visa agreement with the EU and issuing 25,000 visas.

TAİK's 19th Türkiye Investment Conference to be held in New York

According to a statement by DEİK, 7 meetings will be held during the three-day conference; on 21 September, Türkiye's investment environment will be addressed in cooperation with Citi, and on 22 September, renewable energy, nuclear power, and LNG will be discussed at an energy roundtable.
