    Nasuh Mahruki sentenced to 1 year 3 months; announcement of verdict deferred

    Bakırköy 57th Criminal Court of First Instance convicted former AKUT chairman Nasuh Mahruki of "publicly inciting hatred and hostility" over a social media post about July 15, deferred the announcement of the verdict, and ordered his release. Mahruki had been arrested on July 17.

    Prison sentence and release order issued for Nasuh Mahruki
