President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Turkey-US Business Council meeting at the Turkish House, said they expect to close the year with inflation around 28 percent and that 2027 would be stronger in disinflation. He said they will reach the $100 billion trade target with the US in a short time.
Speaking in New York, Erdoğan said core goods inflation has fallen to the lowest level since 2020 and rent inflation to the lowest in the last four years. He said fuel taxes were reduced and the budget performed beyond target.
