Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı announced that head coach Vincenzo Italiano joined the squad while he was in talks with Napoli. Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin, on the other hand, announced that he rejected Beşiktaş's offer.
Speaking to A Spor, Adalı said Italiano's manager and lawyer said 'we are reaching an agreement with Napoli', and that when the talks stalled, they went to Italy and reached an agreement with the coach. Raskin's statement, who plays for Rangers, is not related to legal proceedings but to the transfer process.
