Istanbul Airport ranks first in Europe and fifth in world in daily flights

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu reported that according to the EUROCONTROL report, Istanbul Airport was Europe's busiest airport with a daily average of 1,643 flights between 7 and 13 September, and ranked fifth in the world with 829 departures.
