Hattusa tablet contains Treaty of Kadesh provisions on asylum seekers
A cuneiform tablet fragment found during excavations at Büyükkale in the Hittite capital of Hattusa in Çorum was determined to belong to one of the copies of the Treaty of Kadesh. Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced on World Peace Day that the fragment contains provisions regarding those seeking refuge from one country to another.
