EPDK sets 2027 electricity transmission surcharge tariff

The energy regulator EPDK decided on the electricity transmission surcharge tariff to take effect on January 1, 2027. According to the decision, the fee will not be reflected on subscriber bills as a new tax or service charge.

Over 3.5 million EV charging sessions recorded in August

According to energy regulator EPDK data, 3,527,070 charging sessions took place at charging network operators' stations in August, consuming 97,469 megawatt-hours of electricity. The highest hourly consumption was recorded between 16:00 and 17:00.

Two more detained from Tera Yatırım in capital markets investigation

Tera Yatırım board members Bülent Uygun and Abdulkadir Özkan have been detained. In the investigation, it was previously determined that Serdar Turhan transferred 15 million dollars and Muhammed Yarız transferred 25 million euros to Switzerland, and Nihat Kırmızı was also detained.
