Gap between state grain board price and free market price for hazelnuts under debate

In Ordu, the free market price for hazelnuts is 170-180 lira per kilogram, and 190 lira in Giresun; the Soil Products Office's (TMO) Levant-quality purchase price is cited in sources as either 250 or 255 lira. Turkish shipping company files complaint with ICC over Black Sea ship attack

Opposition press BirGün reported that spot gold rose 1.1% to test $4,310.49, and that gram gold climbed as high as 6,758 lira on Thursday.
Neutral press Sigorta Gündem reported that after the decision, spot gold fell back to around $4,240, then recovered to approach the $4,300 mark, with gram gold testing above 6,750 lira.

Card payments reached 2.99 trillion lira in August

According to Interbank Card Center (BKM) data, payments made with credit cards, debit cards and prepaid cards in August rose 39% year-on-year to 2.9904 trillion lira (TL). The total number of cards increased 4% to 478 million.

Emlak Katılım begins acquisition talks for Katılımevim and Birevim

Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası notified the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that its subsidiary had begun talks to acquire Katılımevim and Birevim Tasarruf Finansman. TÜİK: Housing sales fell 14.7% year-on-year in August

Financial Stability Committee holds emergency meeting: "No structural risk"
