# Court of Cassation overturns poverty alimony ruling for spouse with comparable income

The Court of Cassation's 2nd Civil Chamber found unlawful the ruling by the Bakırköy 13th Family Court that awarded poverty alimony to a retired woman with a regular income whose income level was close to her spouse's; the divorce ruling itself was upheld.
