# Nefes: Public sector rent expenses reach 25.7 billion lira in eight months

Citing Treasury and Finance Ministry budget data, Nefes reported that rent expenses from January to August 2026 totaled 25.712 billion lira (TL); the largest item was 9.907 billion lira (TL) spent on staff shuttle rentals.
